Mohan Ghandi has a Happy Pond

Mohan Ghandi (yes he is related) is the proud owner of a very Happy Pond affectionately named the Millenium Pond in Malaysia. He is also an active and distinguished Committee Member of ZNA Malaysia Koi Club.

Mohan estimates the pond volume (including filter) at 300 tons and it reaches 12 feet deep. The number of koi is unknown, but the video shows that his breeding efforts are working as there are plenty of young koi alongside the hundreds of adult koi.

The MAKC 20th Annual Koi Show in Maryland

The Mid-Atlantic Koi Club is holding their 20th Annual Koi show and they just keep getting better. If you live in or anywhere near Maryland and are thinking about getting your own koi pond or already have one then you have got to visit the show. This year it will be just after the blistering heat of August has past on September 12, 13, and 14, which makes for a great 3-day weekend starting on Friday the 12th.
